
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The terms and conditions of entry in the Juggernaut Tipping Competition (Competition) are contained in:
these terms (Terms and
the Competition Rules, available at www.juggernaut.game;
with the Terms prevailing over the Competition Rules, to the extent of any inconsistency between the two.
Entries must comply with these Terms to be valid.
Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms.
The Promoter is Aura Labs Pty Ltd (ACN 147 895 994) of 17 Torrens Street, Brandon ACT 2612. To contact the Promoter, please email support@juggernaut.game.
Competition period
The Competition will commence from 6th March 2025 and ends 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time of the first game in the last round of the regular 2025 Australian Rules Football (AFL) season.
Eligibility to enter
To be eligible to enter the Competition an entrant must:
be a natural person aged 18 years or over;
be a resident of Australia(i.e. persons located outside of Australia are ineligible to enter);
comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws, particularly those related to online competitions and gaming; and
not use the app if it is prohibited by law in the jurisdiction in which you are accessing the app from.
(Eligible Entrants).
Directors, management, employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter, retailers, suppliers, associated entities and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Close family members are eligible for early-access prizesz valued under $100.
How to enter
To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Competition Period:
Have created an account and verified their email address via the website or mobile application.
A limit of one account applies per person. Where a person creates multiple or duplicate accounts, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend or terminate those accounts and disqualify that person from participating in the Competition.
Competitions and Gameplay
The Competition offers various public and private competitions. By participating, you agree to the following:
Game Rules: Each competition has specific rules, including deadlines (e.g., lockout times) and scoring systems. Ensure you understand these rules before participating.
Default Selections: If you fail to submit tips for a round, the away team will be automatically selected as your default pick.
Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie, winners will be determined based on criteria specified for tie-breakers.
Fair Play: Any form of cheating, collusion, or misuse of the app is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification or account suspension.
Naming Guidelines: User profile names and competition names must not be offensive, discriminatory, or violate community standards. Juggernaut reserves the right to review and restrict names deemed inappropriate.
Prize[s]
The prize consists of $5,000 AUD.
All taxes (excluding [goods and services tax (GST) OR GST]), which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the Prize, are the sole responsibility of the Winner[s].
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of the Winner[s] accepting or using the Prize (or both), except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The prizes are awarded by Aura. Apple and Google are not connected in any way to rewards or competitions associated with Juggernaut.
Competition date and time
All valid entries will be included in the competition.
The competition will be adjudicated within 24 hours of completion of the last round of the regular 2025 AFL season (Prize Adjudication Date).
Prizes are awarded to the entrant who most accurately selects the winning AFL teams in the shortest period, in aggregate across the entire season. This is determined by:
Identifying the entrant with the greatest number of correct selections of winning teams across the entire season,
Calculating the time between a round opening for tip selection and the time taken for an individual to reach their final selection, for clarity, time taken will include any revisions and selection resubmissions,
Summing the total time in (b) above for each round, and
Determining the entrant with the lowest aggregate selection time, in combination with the most number of correct selections.
The Prize will be announced and distributed in accordance with clause 18 and clause 19. Winning is not contingent on being present at the draw.
Prize delivery
Prizes will be, paid or transferred to the Winner[s] within 28 days after the Prize Adjudication Date.
The Winner[s] will be notified about how the prize will be delivered (or may be collected) within seven days of the draw.
Prize substitution
In the event that the Prize (or any part of the Prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize) with a prize of equal or greater value subject to any contrary direction from a regulatory authority.
Winner notification and publication
The Winner[s] will be notified within seven days of the Prize Adjudication Date.
The Winner[s] will be notified in writing by email to the email address submitted at the time of entry to the a Social Media platform account used to enter the Competition.
The names of winners of prizes over will be published on the Promoter’s social media page] for a minimum of 28 days] on and from the date of adjudication.
Unclaimed prizes
All Prizes will be distributed during or after the close of the Competition.
The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Prize Winner[s].
If any Prizes (other than perishable Prizes) remain unclaimed within three months after the Prize Adjudication Date, the unclaimed Prize will be awarded to the entrant who placed immediately after the Prize Winner[s] using the logic defined in Clause 15.
The winners of the Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified in the same manner as set out in Clause 22. Winner’s names will be published in the same manner as set out in Clause 23.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Competition.
Use of Eligible Entrant’s personal information
Personal information including the Eligible Entrant’s name and email will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including local regulatory authorities and the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition, or for promotional and marketing purposes (including for direct marketing) (Purpose).
By entering this Competition, Eligible Entrant’s consent to the use of their personal information for the Purpose, and that the Promoter may contact them for future marketing and material purposes without payment. Eligible Entrants agree that the Promoter may use this information for that purpose [and disclose it to other organisations or persons including overseas service providers that may use it, in any media for the Purpose.
Eligible Entrants may access, change or update their personal information through the provided application or by emailing the Promoter on support@juggernaut.game. A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy is available at www.juggernaut.game/privacy. The privacy policy contains information about how individuals may access or correct personal information or make a privacy-related complaint.
Publicity
Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image or voice (or a combination of these) in the event that they are a Winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed or supplied (or both) by the Promoter.]
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and the Competition and any claim or dispute between the Promoter and an Entrant are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of New South Wales in connection with any dispute concerning these terms and conditions and the trade promotion.
Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute concerning the conduct of the trade promotion or claiming a prize, Entrants must contact the Promoter to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. If the matter cannot be resolved, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered by the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre. The costs of mediation will be shared equally between the parties.
General conditions
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided as part of the redemption of a Prize should be directed to the Promoter. The Promoter takes no responsibility where it is unable to contact prize winners who have not provided correct or complete contact details.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of the details of the Eligible Entrants and of the age, identity and residential address of the Winner[s] and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition, has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. In the event that a winner breaches these terms and conditions, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Winner[s] have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, without limitation:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
any variation in market value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
any tax implications; or
the Prizes or use of the Prizes.
If for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter this Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
All content, logos, and features in app are the Promotor’s intellectual property or licensed to the Promotor. Eligible Participants may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the app without the Promotor’s written permission.
The app incorporates data, including odds and sports statistics, from third-party providers to enrich the user experience. These features are informational only and do not constitute gambling or wagering activities. By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that:
Odds and sports statistics are provided by external sources, and while we strive to ensure accuracy, the Promotor does not guarantee their reliability or timeliness.
These features are intended solely for enhancing gameplay and should not be used for gambling purposes outside the app.
The Promotor is not responsible for any errors, discrepancies, or interruptions in third-party data.
The Promotor reserves the right to modify or discontinue third-party integrations at any time without prior notice.
